Simple Hemorrhage

Effusion of a more or less abundant quantity of blood out of a blood vessel. Any hemorrhagic syndrome requires careful evaluation with a view to clinical supervision.

Petechia: variety of cutaneous hemorrhage, characterized by purplish red spots. Inappropriate, high and prolonged use of anticoagulants (heparin, warfarin, etc.) can cause this disorder.

Venous hemorrhage: the blood is dark red, flows in sheets, spreads out.

Arterial hemorrhage: the blood is bright red, flows in jerks caused by the beating of the heart.
