Varicose Veins And Phlebitis

Varicose veins: venous insufficiency. Abnormal and permanent dilation of the veins with localized swelling.

Varicose veins are a sign of weakness in the vein walls and are sometimes the result of poor functioning of the valves whose role is to circulate blood to the heart. Look for the causes: heredity, frequent and prolonged standing, numerous pregnancies, inadequate diet…

Phlebitis: inflammation of a vein following a more or less extensive venous thrombosis. The clot formed in the lumen of the vessel obliterates the vein and, attached to the wall, causes inflammatory phenomena, a cessation of venous circulation and edema upstream of the obstruction.

Thrombosis: formation of a clot in a blood vessel.

Use: garlic, onion, parsley, horsetail, dandelion, grapefruit, artichoke, chicory

Drink : lemon juice (one per day, if you are not cold), black radish juice, sea buckthorn (Weleda)

Buckwheat tolerated, avoid other cereals clogging

Pycnogenol (maritime pine extract), fish oil, evening primrose oil

Fluxarola (Superdiet), 2 tabs. / day for 5 to 6 weeks

Red vine (Superdiet), 1 amp. preferably in the morning

Practice: walking, swimming, cycling, gymnastics

Avoid sedentary lifestyle, tight clothing, hot environments and especially prolonged sunbathing.
