Affection which affects young men (85% of cases and 9 times/10 between 15 and 35 years), mainly affects the spine and the pelvis.

Chronic inflammatory rheumatism at the level of the ligaments which connect the vertebrae together and electively affects the sacroiliac joints and the column whose ligaments become calcified.

Light breathing exercises

Local heat, light massages with Arnica cream or St. John's Wort oil help relieve joint stiffness and pain

Certain physical exercises promote joint mobility and reduce pain (e.g.: walking, swimming, cycling, etc.).

Avoid excessively prolonged bed rest, a cause of muscle atrophy. We must fight against ankylosis.

Control emotional and physical stress, which causes acidity.

Stop smoking immediately.
